Many Happy Returns

Hello :). Goodness, I've disappeared again. This time, however, my disappearance was rather eventful.

Over the past few weeks, a couple of significant to me events have taken place. First and foremost, three of my lovely friends and I have finally returned to volunteer at our local dog shelter. This specific shelter holds value to me, and this is why it was on the top of my list of things I made that I wanted to do after the pandemic was more or less over ( https://mybluggles.blogspot.com/2020/ 03 / after-pandemic.html)

Another fulfilling thing I did just yesterday was paying a visit to one of my local charities. Despite having to take an enormous detour due to road works, I had a very enjoyable time helping pack bags of food to give to the hungry around the city. I am planning to write a post specifically dedicated to this amazing charity some time in the near future, since I will be paying them an ample amount of visits :).

The image is actually completely unrelated, but these are bracelets my friend, Morgane, made us :)

On the more adventurous side, a good friend of mine and I went on a small driving exploration at 6 o'clock in the morning (which I got up at 4:30 am for). This mini adventure of ours made me, for the first time in a long while, truly appreciate the beauty and placidity of undisturbed nature.

Aside from that, I got myself a small job of driving a kid to school and a wonderful guy to the gym. In fact, today is the day I get my first monthly pay for driving the kiddo :).

Overall, trying to summarize all the events that took place over the past while made me realize  how much I enjoy writing these posts and how much better it is to write regularly but in full detail, rather than once in a while with the details narrowed down. So, my dear readers, this is what I will be aiming to do. Let's see how it goes :)

Another random one for you :) 😂

What have you been up to in the past few weeks? I'd absolutely love to know).

  1. Haha hello! Nice to see you again!

All of that sounds so fun. Plus, you're helping to make a difference in the world. Good for you :3

I had school and such these past few weeks, and more school after😂 For now I am having a semi-long break, dreading the Science homework assigned to us. I did however pet some very fluffy sheep before school started and ate a bunch of scones for breakfast, so that's nice! I wish I can say it was as eventful as yours. It really wasn't.

The last sign was hilarious, and welcome back! Lovely post💕

    1. Thank you for your lovely comment))💕

I have to admit, I am a little envious of you petting the sheep. Especially since, like you said, they happened to have been very fully).

I randomly stumbled across that sign while "trespassing" into a resort near my house. There were many more signs of that sort there :)

  3. Hi! It's... been a long time, since you've been here. I know there's close to nil chances of you reading this, but I thought I should leave a comment here anyway. First off, I hope the last 2 years have treated you well.

I.. often visit this blog, every 2 months or so, to check if you ever popped back, but, well, as evidenced by this blog, this was the last time you were 'round these parts.

As for why I'm dropping off this comment- it was mainly to thank you. You, of course, probably don't remember this, but about.. 2~3 years ago, you commented twice on a random blog I was writing- not regular in any regard, and not even well written in any way, shape, or form. It was a random mess of whatever my 15 year old mind wanted to put out on the internet.

However, even though I never had the courage to respond to those 2 comments, they'd made my entire week when you'd posted them. Now, well, I thought I should at least express my gratitude, in some way, to the complete stranger who went out of her way to comment on a random blog and express her support.

So, thank you. It meant a lot, and, somehow, has stuck with me over the years. I hope you have a good one, wherever, or however you are right now.

The essential situation

Welcome back)). In this entry I want to get through a few different things, so that I have the chance to drop the topic of the coronavirus for the next few posts. The reason for that being because I’m sure that everyone’s starting to get frustrated about the fact that all that’s currently being discussed in detail is the virus. I, for one, most definitely am. Alright then, let’s start our way through). What’s happening here in Pattaya? Yesterday, I experienced all the pleasures of struggling to unclog a sink. Upon discovering that I lack a necessary liquid, I left the house to go to the store for the first time in three days. Honestly, I can’t say that there was a difference worth noting in the occurrences of the outside world. Yes, there is a bit less traffic then usual, but otherwise, everything seemes very much normal. It was when I arrived at my destination, however, that I began taking notice of the little, almost negligible details. There were a few changes in the rul...

After the pandemic

Good morning; good afternoon; good evening. As you may have guessed by the title, my aim for this entry is to share with you what I hope to do after the coronavirus subsides enough for things to get back to normal. More or less. Just so I don’t forget, if you have a minute or two to spare, leave a comment about some things you would consider doing yourself. It’d be interesting to see what motivates different people to keep hanging on during this disaster. 1. First of all, I will go visit the local dog shelter. I’ve been there a handful of times, with different friends of mine, so I think that my first visit after the virus should be made alone. You know, for the sake of contrast :) 2. I will definitely meet up with people, especially people I didn’t have the chance to catch up with before the situation started escalating. Of course, I can engage in conversations over text or call, video call, even, however, as you are aware, nothing beats meeting in person. 3. I’ll go to...

Happy Songkran!

Hello, welcome back)). Let's breifly summarise the weekend, shall we? :) On Saturday morning I wokeup with very sore legs, which was the expected result of a 1,000 suqat challenge I impulsively decided to do on Friday evening. Yes, you read that right, 1,000 squats, which absolutely destroyed me. Needless to say, I have been forced to make quite the effort to wobble around for the past three days. I baked some nice cookies on Saturday, which got a very good laugh from one specific person who claimed they looked like horse droppings. See for yourself, and let me know if you agree with the opinion: Sunday was they day I attempted (key word here) to make homemade ice-cream. It ended up having a consistency of frozen chocolate mousse, so I wouldn't say it was a complete (another key word) fail. Here's a quick snap I took: Sunday was also the day I was given some lovely chocolates. I've been intermittently eyeing the pack for the entire day today and re...
