Hello :). Goodness, I've disappeared again. This time, however, my disappearance was rather eventful. Over the past few weeks, a couple of significant to me events have taken place. First and foremost, three of my lovely friends and I have finally returned to volunteer at our local dog shelter. This specific shelter holds value to me, and this is why it was on the top of my list of things I made that I wanted to do after the pandemic was more or less over ( https://mybluggles.blogspot.com/2020/ 03 / after-pandemic.html ) Another fulfilling thing I did just yesterday was paying a visit to one of my local charities. Despite having to take an enormous detour due to road works, I had a very enjoyable time helping pack bags of food to give to the hungry around the city. Originally, I was planning to call this post 'The Invasion of Koh Larn', but I decided to have mercy on the FBI agent who was assigned to keep an eye on me through my laptop camera. Right, so Koh Larn is one of the many islands just off the shore of mainland Thailand, which, depending where in Thailand you are, you can visit via a quick boat, ferry (or sometimes plane) ride. And that's exactly what a friend of mine and I did just the day before yesterday (Thursday, 18th). I would say the idea was more or less spontaneuos and we brought it into reality rather swiftly. The only thing we were worried about before setting off was THE RAIN.
